The resort opened in November 2013 on a private island in Noonu Atoll, with architecture by Jean-Michel Gathy and interiors by Jean-Michel Gathy and his collaborators that show a relentless commitment to detail. Forty-five villas, eight beach, ten water, and a handful of larger Owner's Villas, are spread across five private islands within the Randheli atoll, connected by a private boat fleet that runs on a schedule almost imperceptible to the guest.
The villas are the largest in their categories in the Maldives, even the Beach Villas start at 250 square metres, with private gardens, plunge pools, and direct beach access. The Water Villas push out into the lagoon with double-sided sun decks. The four-bedroom Owner's Villa is its own private compound on its own island, with chef, butler, gardener, and a 65-metre pool.
