Why this rank, Bulgari Hotel Paris opened in May 2024 at 30 Avenue George V, across the avenue from the Four Seasons Hotel George V, marking Bulgari's first Paris property and the brand's twelfth hotel globally. The building was the former private residence of pharmaceutical entrepreneur Henri-Lebon, rebuilt by ACPV Architects under Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel to a contemporary specification. 76 rooms and suites across the eight-floor building. Niko Romito Restaurant operates the dining program under the three-Michelin-star Italian chef Niko Romito's signature. The Cocktail Bar runs the bar program; the Bulgari Spa occupies a dedicated floor with the rooftop swimming pool offering Champs-Élysées-direction views. The Bulgari Suite at 230 sq m commands the building's corner with private terrace. The property is expected to receive Atout France Palace classification within 24-36 months of opening per the standard review cycle. Best for honeymoon, anniversary, and any first Paris stay with priority on contemporary luxury.

Best room: Bulgari Suite, 230 sq m corner suite with private terrace.

Honeymoon Anniversary Proposal Five-Star

"The most disciplined design statement on Avenue George V, Citterio's Bvlgari grammar translated into Parisian limestone, a 25-metre pool deeper than any in the 8th, and an Italian three-star chef cooking inside the most French quarter in the city."

The Hotel

Bvlgari Hotel Paris opened on 2 December 2021 as the seventh property in the LVMH-owned Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection, after Milan (2004), Bali (2006), London (2012), Beijing (2017), Dubai (2017) and Shanghai (2018), and ahead of Tokyo (2023) and Rome (2023). The Paris property occupies a purpose-built nine-storey limestone block at 30 Avenue George V, 75008, the address that gives the brand the only new-build five-star on the Triangle d'Or to open this century. The site previously held the headquarters of the diamond-house Mauboussin and a 1970s commercial annex; both were cleared in 2017 and reconstructed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the Milan studio that has shaped the visual grammar of every Bvlgari hotel since the original Milan property.

The 76 rooms and suites are configured as 50 rooms and 26 suites across floors one through eight, the largest standard category sized at 35 square metres, generous for the Parisian eight-hundredth-century context, and the Bvlgari Suite at 386 square metres on the eighth floor with a private 100-square-metre rooftop terrace overlooking the courtyard of the Hôtel de la Païva and the Champs-Élysées. The 16 named Bvlgari Premium Suites are 100 square metres with separate dressing rooms and dual-aspect bathrooms in Bianco Carrara and Verde Alpi marble. Brushed-oak flooring throughout; lacquered timber walls; bespoke lighting designed for the property by Citterio's studio. Every category includes a 24-hour butler.

Il Ristorante Niko Romito is the headline kitchen, Romito's third hotel restaurant after Bvlgari Milano and Bvlgari Tokyo, all extending the cuisine of his three-Michelin-star Casadonna in the Abruzzo. The Bvlgari Bar opens to the courtyard garden under a glass canopy; the Niko Romito Spazio counter-format pasticceria is open to non-residents from breakfast through aperitivo. The Bvlgari Spa runs across two basement levels at 1,300 square metres including the 25-metre pool with mosaic-gold lining (longest hotel pool in the 8th arrondissement on opening), six treatment rooms, hammam, sauna, gym and the brand's signature jewellery-box-shaped pool entrance.

The position is the proposition that justifies the rate. Avenue George V is the principal artery of the Triangle d'Or, 90 seconds to Champs-Élysées, three minutes on foot to the Plaza Athénée and George V Métro, four minutes to Hôtel Marignan-Princesse and the Avenue Montaigne flagship row. Bvlgari Hotel Paris is the first contemporary expression of Italian luxury hospitality in the most French quarter of Paris, and its architectural restraint is its strongest argument: where Plaza Athénée is theatrical and Four Seasons George V is operatic, the Bvlgari is quiet, precise and Milanese. It is the answer for guests who want the Avenue George V address without the Belle Époque vocabulary.

Best Occasion Fit

Honeymoon

For Paris honeymoons that want the George V address without the Belle Époque vocabulary, the Bvlgari is the contemporary answer. The Premium Suite category at 100 square metres, the rooftop Bvlgari Suite for milestone bookings, and the 25-metre pool that is the only serious lap pool on the Triangle d'Or. Niko Romito's three-Michelin-star kitchen handles dinner in the round; the courtyard garden handles breakfast.

Anniversary

An Avenue George V anniversary at the Bvlgari is calibrated by category, Deluxe Room for a quiet weekend, Premium Suite for a milestone, the rooftop Bvlgari Suite for the major one. Il Ristorante for the dinner; the spa hammam and 25-metre pool for the morning; the courtyard garden in summer for the afternoon aperitivo. The concierge runs an exceptional Avenue Montaigne shopping book that few competitors can match.

Proposal

The Bvlgari Suite's private 100-square-metre rooftop terrace is the proposal-with-Eiffel-line-of-sight booking, the only guaranteed Eiffel-Tower terrace on the Triangle d'Or. The hotel handles ring-presentation choreography reflexively, with chef-led private rooftop dining and direct internal access to the Bvlgari boutique on Place Vendôme four minutes away.

Why this hotel works for Paris

Editorial · #12 on the Top 20 Paris Hotels 2026 list

Bulgari Hotel Paris is the most-significant new Paris hotel opening of 2024, the Italian crystal-and-jewelry brand's first Paris property, in partnership with Marriott International. The 30 Avenue George V address, directly across from the Four Seasons George V, anchors the property in the 8th-arrondissement luxury corridor. The Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel interior architecture is contemporary rather than heritage, which is the Bulgari brand register globally.

For Paris visitors, Bulgari Paris is the address for fresh product over historic provenance. Niko Romito Restaurant under the three-Michelin-star Italian chef runs the dining program. The rooftop swimming pool, the highest hotel pool in central Paris, commands views in the Champs-Élysées direction. The Bulgari Spa is the contemporary luxury-spa counterpart to the heritage Palace spas. Palace classification is expected within 24-36 months per the Atout France review cycle. For travelers who prefer the contemporary Bulgari design language to the heritage Palace identity, the property is the new working address.
