Why this rank, Maison Delano Paris opened in November 2023 at 4 Rue d'Anjou, Ian Schrager's first European Delano property, in partnership with Accor's Ennismore platform. The building is the 18th-century Hôtel de Brancas mansion, restored by architect Lazaro Rosa-Violan. The Rue d'Anjou address sits one block from Place de la Madeleine and three blocks from Place Vendôme, in the working business and luxury-retail district. 56 rooms and suites across the heritage building. Maison Delano Restaurant under chef Dani García runs the dining program with a contemporary Mediterranean focus. The Bar Maison operates as the cocktail room. The Spa is small (two treatment rooms) and operated through partnership; no swimming pool. The Penthouse Suite at the top of the building has private rooftop space with a view across the Madeleine. The contemporary design language is the working alternative to the Palace-tier heritage hotels, Maison Delano competes on fresh product rather than historic provenance.
