The Hotel

Beaver Creek Lodge stands at the head of Avondale Lane in the centre of Beaver Creek Village, two minutes from the skating-rink plaza and the Centennial Express ski lift, the most compact of the village's four full-service hotels. The property opened in the late 1980s as part of the original Beaver Creek Resort build-out and was reorganised in the early 2020s under Marriott's Autograph Collection, the design-led independent-hotel programme that gathers properties of distinctive architectural and operational character. The Lodge's distinctive architecture is the Adirondack-style timber-and-stone vernacular common to early Beaver Creek but at a smaller scale than the village's flagship resorts.

Every one of the seventy-two accommodations is an all-suite configuration, a rarity at the Beaver Creek price point: separate sleeping and living rooms, full or partial kitchens, gas fireplaces, mountain or river views, and balconies. Suite categories begin at the Studio Suite (around 500 square feet, sleeping two) and run up through the One-Bedroom Suite, the Premier Two-Bedroom Suite, and the named Mountain Suite (the property's flagship 1,100-square-foot unit with the wood-burning fireplace and the south-facing slope-side balcony). The configuration is the proposition: every guest, at every price point, gets a real living room.

Dining is anchored by Black Diamond Bistro, the lobby-level all-day restaurant that operates breakfast through après-ski and a mountain-cuisine evening menu rooted in Colorado producers; the lobby fireplace lounge is the property's social centre, a single-room après-ski-to-evening setup that the larger resorts cannot replicate. There is no separate bar; the lounge bar serves both functions, which is part of the property's deliberate single-room sociability. Room service operates a limited but capable menu drawn from Black Diamond.

Amenities run to the property's scale: a year-round outdoor heated pool, a hot tub, a small but capable fitness centre, ski concierge with valet boot-and-ski drop at the village base, and a small spa with three treatment rooms. Ski-in/ski-out is a three-minute walk to the Centennial Express lift; in winter the property maintains a ski-and-boot valet path direct to the lift queue. The Lodge's compact scale, single-bar lobby, and all-suite-only configuration give it a quieter, more residential evening character than the flagship resorts a few hundred yards away, the closest the village offers to a private alpine chalet within a managed hotel.

Best Occasion Fit

Honeymoon

For Beaver Creek honeymoons that want the village-floor proximity to dining and après-ski but at a smaller scale than the flagship resorts, the Mountain Suite (1,100 square feet, wood-burning fireplace, slope-side balcony) is the central booking. The property's single-lobby-lounge configuration means the evenings run quieter than the larger hotels; Black Diamond Bistro covers dinner; the village-floor cluster of restaurants is a two-minute walk.

Anniversary

Anniversary travel often prefers the Lodge over the flagships for the same reason honeymoons do: an all-suite configuration at every price point, a single intimate lounge for the evening, and the slope-side balcony of the Mountain Suite for the milestone year. The Lodge handles full anniversary programming (in-suite dining, private wine pairings, helicopter scenic flights) as a single concierge brief.

Family Holiday

The all-suite configuration is the family proposition: separate sleeping and living rooms in every category, a partial or full kitchen in every unit, and the Two-Bedroom Suite for the family of four. The slope-side outdoor heated pool operates year-round; Beaver Creek Village's children's programming is a two-minute walk. The Lodge is the most-compact family booking in the village, ideal for families who prefer the all-suite intimacy to the larger resort-floor footprint.
