The rooftop pool, in detail

Address Beach Resort sits on Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai with its 77th-floor rooftop infinity pool at 293.906 metres above ground level, verified by Guinness World Records on 24 March 2021 as the tallest 360-degree infinity pool in the world. The pool is 95 metres long, 16.5 metres wide and contains approximately 2,000 cubic metres of water at altitude.

The pool is engineered with reinforced concrete on the 77th-floor slab, the structural challenge that gates the category. Day passes are available for non-guests at 600 AED including a redeemable food and beverage credit, which makes the Address Beach Resort unusual among the high-altitude rooftop pools on this list.

The deck includes the infinity pool, an adjacent infinity-edge hot tub, a 24-hour bar, and private cabanas that can be booked in advance for half-day or full-day use. The structural achievement is visible from the deck: the cantilevered edge gives the swimmer a direct view down 293 metres to Jumeirah Beach below.

The view

The southern edge faces the Persian Gulf; on a clear day the Palm Jumeirah is visible. The eastern edge faces inland toward the Burj Khalifa. The northern edge faces along Jumeirah Beach Residence toward Bluewaters Island and the Ain Dubai observation wheel.

Day pass versus overnight stay

Address Beach Resort is one of the few hotels on the Top 20 list where the day-pass experience is genuinely close to the overnight experience. The pool deck is the same, the lounger access is the same, and the food and beverage credit covers a respectable lunch. The overnight stay adds the rooftop sunrise (which the day pass excludes) and the option to book one of the Sea View rooms whose floor-to-ceiling windows replicate the pool view from indoor.

Best room to request

Sea View Suite, 65th floor and above; the view is functionally the same as the pool and you have it from breakfast through bedtime.
